The other day I visited Lonsdale in North Vancouver after a long break. I drove to my friend's work place to help him, but he was still working and I had to wait for a while. I decided to go to the terminal station of Sea Bus which is a ferry sailing between North Vancouver and Downtown. Though I often visit North Vancouver, I have never boarded this ferry because I always drive my car. I think I have to try it once before I leave Vancouver. Anyway, there is a small shopping mall with food court near the terminal and we can enjoy a delicious light meal out there. It is similar to the public market in Granville Island though the scale is way smaller. I like this mall because there are lots of sea food and less people than Granville Island. I bought this time a large cup of clam chowder with a piece of wheat bread for $5 at a soup restaurant to go and enjoyed it on the deck of the mall looking at Downtown skyscrapers over the sea. It was still a little bit cold, but I could fully enjoyed the happy lunch.
