As driving to the South, the temperature apparently went up and I could enjoy beautiful cherry blossoms here and there. Oregon was just in the season of cherry blossoms. Different from Vancouver, the blossoms were whiter and dense, which was similar to Japan. I like the contrasts of cherry pink and sky blue, but the sky was unfortunately dark gray in color. To tell the truth, I used tricks when took this picture; I applied +1/3 step exposure compensation and framed the part of the blossoms so that they cover the full frame. The real cherry blossoms I watched was darker and not so flamboyant as this picture shows. We can't forget that photographs do not always show the truth; they can be adjusted, modified and edited. Anyway, as I had to drive more than 700 km this day, I soon got back to the driver's seat after taking a few pictures of these cherry blossoms.
