This hot-looking soup was really hot in two meanings; hot in temperature and hot in taste. I had it in a Korean restaurant around Robson Street. There are so many Korean restaurants in Vancouver that I visited there for the first time. I strongly feel that Korean people in Vancouver are increasing year by year. The number of them is not so big as Chinese but it might be bigger than Japanese. It's easier to find Korean restaurant than sushi restaurant. I don't care which nationality is stronger in this city at all, but in my hypothesis, the number of the people provides the number of its restaurants and then the quality of them. It's a simple rule of marketing. The taste of the soup was spicy but delicious thanks to the seafood ingredients boiled in it. Tofu is a bean curd made from soy and it was a good combination with the red soup. Though it wasn't a hot day, I couldn't help sweating especially from the head. Korean spicy food suits the cold weather.
