Driving in the middle of the night is a little fun. I sometimes drive out around Vancouver alone after midnight. It is pleasant to drive on empty roads watching Xmas illuminations. Of course, most shops are closed but they are lit up for anti-theft reasons. It is just like driving through a luminous ghost town. When I was driving around West Vancouver as usual, I got surprised to see abrupt blinks of red and blue lights on my back. It was an unmarked police car and I was pulled over. I fell into the depths of despair from the heaven. I was afraid of an over-speeding ticket though I wasn't sure how much speed. A policeman came up to my car with a flashlight and asked my destination, living place and the reason for the driving. That was all his question and I was soon released. He seemed to have suspected me as a criminal of something because it was so unusual to drive in such a period of time.
