This is the fog over UBC which we found on the way to Howe Sound. It's a typical advection fog which breaks out when warm airmass flows into cooler area. It's very interesting to watch various weather phenomena before our very eyes. They become way more interesting and realistic with a piece of scientific knowledge. Having those kind of knowledge and analyzing the phenomena is not only interesting but also necessary for sailors and pilots for the sake of our own safety. We don't need much of them when we drive a car. I think it is what divides sailing and flying from driving.

Feeling nature is interesting indeed. When you sail and fly, you surely feel nature, especially in a vast country Canada, you have important period of time.
