As the flight to Hope was canceled again, I went to Point Roberts to purchase gas. On the way back from the gas station I usually use, I drove on the road running along the border between Canada and the United States. The road was on the U.S. side and I saw a strange sight there. There were a lot of houses standing on the both sides of the road. On the U.S side, all the houses were standing with their entrances facing toward the road, but on Canada side, all the houses were hiding their entrances from the road and the private fences were forming the border. In this area, the neighbor over the road can not be a neighbor because it is in the foreign country. I wonder what would happen if Canada and the U.S fought together.
