Today I went to the Granville Island Marina with my friend on his kayak and repainted so called anti-fouling on the bottom of my boat. It is a kind of paint which contains poison and can be peeled easily once dried. These special characters are to avoid shells and seaweeds to stick to the bottom of boats and cause drag. My boat is so small that the painting job finished in 30 minutes. While waiting for the paint to dry, we went to Kitts Beach on my friend's kayaks. The sea was calm and the kayaking was very pleasant, however we sailed too far and the return trip was a bit hard because of the current. When we arrived at the marina we were a bit exhausted and hungry, so we enjoyed Thai food with a couple of glasses of beer. I've just come back to my room after putting my boat back in the water. I worked too much today and feel now pain on my shoulders.
