It was sunny Sunday today. No clouds were in the sky and the temperature was almost 30 degrees Celsius. When I cycled around Stanley Park, I saw a lot of people in the beach. They all seemed to be enjoying this good day in each way like swimming, sunbathing, playing with a dog, or playing beach volleyball. I don't know whether this is general to all Canadian people or specific to Vancouver residents, but they really like doing sports and they are very good at enjoying their holiday without spending money. I think it owes much to the natural environment in Vancouver, but the effort to keep the beach clean cannot be neglected. If it were in Japan, they would have to spend a lot of time and money just for arriving at a beach and get tired before enjoying beach volleyball.
