Ikaho is one of the famous, traditional, Japanese spa resort towns and it is located north of Tokyo,at the foot of Mt. Haruna. It is rich in hot springs and has been flourishing for more than a hundred years. I'm now staying in this town enjoying the spa. I'm going to stay here for a few days. I walked around the town this evening but it was very cold and most stores and restaurants were closed. It was as if it was a ghost town. The spa is great. It has several huge bath tubs, and as it is now off season, there was no one except me. I could have a monopoly on the huge spa.
