Yakisoba is a typical Japanese junk food. It consists of fried yellow noodles, but is different from chinese fried noodles. It looks like chowmien but it is a little bit thinner and more sticky. The greatest difference is in the taste of the sauce which is made in some factories in Japan. We use this sauce for many kinds of dishes such as okonomiyaki (Japanese pancakes with sliced cabbage), Japanese coroquette, and so on. Anyway I cooked yakisoba with yellow noodles, corns, a half-cooked egg, and mayonnaise. Oh, and all the ingredients are yellow!
