Yakisoba is a typical Japanese junk food. It is fried yellow noodles, but is different from Chinese fried noodles. It looks like chowmen but it is a little bit thiner and sticky. The largest difference is the taste of sauce which is made in some factories in Japan. We use this sauce for many kinds of dishes such as okonomiyaki (Japanese pancake with sliced cabbage), Japanese coroquette, and so on. Anyway I cooked yakisoba with yellow noodles, corns, half-cooked egg, and mayonnaise. Oh, all the ingredients are yellow!
