Whenever I visit Ganges Harbour I have a glass of oyster shooter in a pub. It is a vodka based cocktail with tomato juice and a raw oyster and horseradish. It tastes like clamato, a cocktail with tomato juice and clam sauce. It is said that we have to drink this cocktail at one gulp without biting the oyster, so as to enjoy the feeling of the oyster going down the throat. Last year when I sailed around the Gulf Islands with my friends from the sailing school, we caught a lot of oysters on the beaches of some of the islands, and often made this cocktail and tasted it. If you like clamato juice, why don't you try this special cocktail at least once?
