"I need more to write English and weblog is a excellent way to practice writing."

(You have to use the word "a" when it is followed by a word that begins with a consonant letter. Then when it is followed by a word that begins with a vowel letter you have to use the word "an".)

For example: Instead of saying "weblog is a excellent way to practice writting". The most suitable way to say it is "weblog is an excellent way to practice writting" or it can be weblog is an excellent way to improve my writting."

Hope you'll not get offended if I corrected your writting.

I have decided to keep this diary every day to improve my English. I need more practice at writing English and weblog is an excellent way to practice writing.

Hi! I am very interested in your site. You sure do cover a lot of topics. Another english tip about "a" vs. "an", the previous person to comment on this was correct, but there's more. Not only if there is a vowel next, but if there is a vowel SOUND next. For example: a historic event, should be AN historic event. My wife is Japanese and I have created simple ways to teach her to hear things in English. If you think differently than you have before, I'm sure you can get unstuck from your inability to improve. Just try learning another way. Feel free to contact me anytime, (I live in the Vancouver area) Good luck!! Mike.
